London

Partners

Founder & Managing Partner of Shared Value, advising on investor and media relations issues. Formerly Head of Investor Relations for Millicom (NASDAQ: MICC) for eight years. Prior to that, a Director of Shandwick and worked for NatWest Markets and UBS. He is a graduate of Oxford University.

Founder & Managing Partner of Shared Value, advising on international media and investor relations, with a focus on Russia, the CIS and Scandinavia. Head of Investor Relations for MTG (NASDAQ OMX: MTGB) for nine years and previously Director of Shandwick and a graduate of Oxford University.

Over 12 years of financial communications expertise, based both in New York and London. His client experience has focused on helping international companies to raise their profile and expand their shareholder bases in the European and North American capital markets. Graduate of Vassar College, New York.

Fifteen years of experience working in corporate communications, joining Shared Value in 2000. At Shared Value, she has been responsible for developing and implementing integrated investor relations and financial public relations programmes for multinational clients. Previously a Consultant at Shandwick. She holds a BA (Hons) from Manchester University.

Over four years’ experience in corporate communications. Former media consultant at C’Squared Co., a London-based publishing and international media consulting company. Previously, a project manager for a multinational company based in Kyiv, Ukraine. MA Graduate of Webster Graduate School London with a degree in International Business.

Eight years experience in investor relations working for a range of UK and international companies. Previously worked at Taylor Rafferty, an investor relations consultancy based in London. Graduate of Lancaster University with a degree in French and German. He is also a fluent Welsh speaker and contributes to business programmes in the Welsh language.

Senior Advisor

Over seven years’ experience in financial PR and corporate communications, focusing on the Russian and CIS markets. Formerly Managing Director, Europe at The PBN Company, a strategic communications consultancy. A qualified solicitor and former partner at Clyde & Co, the international law firm. Practiced law in Russia for six years in the 1990s. Non-executive director of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce. A Russian speaker, and frequent presenter at conferences and seminars on commercial, strategic communications and legal issues. Graduate of Exeter University with an honours degree in Law.

Vice President

More than 5 years experience in Financial and Corporate Communications. Before joining Shared Value, Teresa was at Brunswick Group where she worked with a wide range of critical communications projects, including M&A, Issue Management, Communications Strategies and Investor Relations. She has extensive cross-border experience, with a particular focus on Nordic and Middle East clients and has been based in both Stockholm and Dubai. Teresa has a MSc degree in Marketing and Commercial Law from Uppsala University.

Shared Value’s broader team of Executives in London is drawn from a range of backgrounds including finance, research, media, marketing and communications. The team is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish, German, Spanish, Italian and French.
Middle East

Toby Wilkinson has over 20 years experience in the City of London and emerging markets, particularly in the MENA region where he is now based. He specialises in helping emerging markets companies to meet the needs of international and regional investment communities. He often works on secondment in-house setting up and training IR departments to improve standards of transparency and disclosure in line with international best practice.

Toby has an extensive background in international public company, private equity and corporate restructuring/turnaround environments and expertise in communicating with global and emerging markets equity and fixed income investors and analysts as well as financial media.

Recent experience includes:

  • Working in-house for the Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company SAOG (Nawras) advising on its IPO and the recruitment and training of the investor relations department.
  • Advising Mubadala PJSC in Abu Dhabi, bringing its IR into line with international standards and advising the company in relation to the $1 billion financial reconstruction of Tabreed.
  • Working for Dana Gas PJSC in UAE, advising on the company’s investor relations, directing media relations and running regional and European non-deal roadshows.
  • An in-house consultancy assignment at Qatar Telecom (Qtel) advising the management on investor and capital markets communications strategy for the $4 billion acquisition of Wataniya Telecom and post-merger integration of assets across the MENA region.
Eastern Mediterranean

Ilhan Nebioglu has over 25 years experience in International Banking. He has been based in London specialising in Turkey, the Balkans, the CIS and the Middle East, with a primary focus on origination and coverage. He maintains top-level access to leading corporate and government officials in Turkey.

He is a Board Member of Turcas Petrol and Borusan Investment in Turkey. Previously, he had duties at the Turkey and Middle East desk at Standard Bank in London. Before this, he was an advisor at Kleinwort Benson in London and during the 1990’s he opened Representative Offices for Yapi Kredi Bank and Garanti Bank in London. Between 2000-2007, Ilhan was part of the privatisation team of BKT in Albania together with EBRD and IFC, and subsequently its Chairman. He also served as Executive Board Member at JW Thompson - Man Ajans in Istanbul.

Ilhan founded and was the Managing Director of Comment Intertrade, a steel trading company in Germany during the 1980’s, and early in his career he worked as a publisher, with his family Publishing House publishing many books, including a major reference work in London, Who's Who in the Arab World. Ilhan was educated at University of Freiburg, Germany.

Christopher Ellis has over 30 years’ experience in international, corporate and investment banking. He has spent over 21 years with HSBC, having also worked for eight years at The Chase Manhattan Bank (from 1975) and SBC.

He set up Midland Bank’s Shipping Branch in Piraeus (1981). From 1983-87 he was based in London covering the East Mediterranean, Middle East and African Region; and from 1987-1989, as Head of Private Banking. From 1989-1993 he set up and ran HSBC’s banking subsidiary in Turkey (Midland) for 4 years. From 1996-2003 he was a Corporate Finance Director in HSBC Investment Bank (London) covering business in South East Europe and the Mediterranean Basin. In this capacity, he has worked with companies and governments at the most senior levels in relation to M&A transactions, equity raisings and privatisations. From 2003-2006 Chris was CEO of HSBC’s businesses in Greece.

Since late 2006, he has been acting as an independent Corporate Adviser. Chris received his MBA from INSEAD following an MA in Economics from the University of Sussex.
